Gavin, Children's Hospital Colorado patient - Osteosarcoma
I ride to give hope to Children’s Hospital Colorado patients like Gavin.
On September 29, 2023, my son Gavin was diagnosed with osteosarcoma – a form of cancer that was growing as a solid tumor on his femur, above his knee. After many rounds of chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital Colorado, and a lengthy procedure to remove the tumor and install an implant and knee replacement, Gavin is completing the chemotherapy protocol and recovering from the surgery. We are very grateful for all of the help and support from every area of the hospital.
