Hi! I'm Mike Frazzini and this is my fourth year riding for the Cardiac Climbers in the Children's Hospital Colorado Courage Classic. This year I will be riding for Vincent!
"Vincent was born with Aortic valve stenosis. He had three valvuplasties before the age of one and was then diagnosed with asthma at two. Vince is now 9 years old and was unexpectedly diagnosed with severe Pulmonary Hypertension at 8 years old after a life saving transfer to CHC.
Vince did not qualify for a heart transplant, and the odds were stacked against him. After several months of waiting on heart and PH meds to get pressures decreased it was finally safe enough to go on mechanical assistance during the surgery. After a successful Ross surgery Vince is now home! His donor repaired side of his heart is doing great and his PH is managed with subcutaneous medicine and several oral medications.
Vincent is doing well and getting stronger every day!! We are cautiously optimistic day by day. He is a true inspiration to our family and hope he can be for others!"
