Team Metamorphosis is riding to transform the lives of individuals affected by epidermolysis
bullosa, also known as EB!
EB is a group of rare, genetic disorders characterized by fragility of the skin and mucous
membranes. Minor trauma leads to blisters, wounds, and other health complications. The
extreme fragility of the skin has led children with EB to be called “Butterfly Children” because their skin is as delicate as a butterfly’s wings.
Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) is home to one of the few EB Centers of Excellence in
the United States. Our providers are committed to educating patients and families, working
proactively to improve health and quality of life, and advancing treatments through
research, including clinical trials.
Help Team Metamorphosis elevate the work of the EB Center at CHCO. Your support
amplifies our efforts to promote awareness about EB, improve care, fund impactful
research to transform outcomes for patients with EB.
I ride with Team Metamorphosis!
Being born with EB, I take whatever opportunity I can to help those like me, and for the past three years one of these opportunities has been the Courage Classic! Riding with my family and many friends from Camp I ride to help support families with EB through the Children's Hospital of Colorado. Together we use the funds raised to help cover medical expenses, accommodations, and much more while we are searching for a cure. Join me in helping raise funds to help those with EB and the Children's Hospital of Colorado!
Thanks,
Henry
