Why I ride
I am riding in the Courage Classic to raise funds for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital. While great strides have been made in fighitng cancer and blood disorders, we haven't reached a 100% cure rate. The funds raised help fund research that will hopefully allow all children who are faced with the challenge of cancer or blood disorders to be cured and live normal healthy lives. My wife and I have experienced the care and expertise of the doctors and staff at Children's Hospital when our daughter was treated there when she was only 18 months old.
