This year, I will not be riding in the Courage Classic but will raise money virtually for Children’s Hospital Colorado. This bicycle tour is one of the most important fund raisers for Children’s Hospital. My team (Wheels of Justice) funnels its donations to The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. (CCBD). Last year, we raised over $600,000 to help end childhood cancers and other blood disorders.
Children’s Hospital saved my nephew’s life. When Paul was 11, he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. He was successfully treated by the incredible doctors, nurses and staff at Children’s and today, he has completed medical school and is doing his Pediatric residency in Milan, Italy.
