Why I ride
My family rides the Courage Classic together in celebration of my daughter, Katie. Katie was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 9 months old and, thanks to the excellent care she received at Children's Hospital Colorado, she has been in remission for almost 11 years. Katie went through two years of intensive chemotherapy, spending much of those two years inpatient at Children's. This is our second year riding with Wheels of Justice, a team dedicated to supporting the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital.
Katie is so strong and resilient! She inspires me to work harder and conquer challenges like the Courage Classic! It's going to be a tough ride, but it's worth it! Please consider donating. Funds raised will go to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders to help kids like Katie!
