Dear friends and family,
Two days until I ride the Courage Classic with Wheels of Justice benefiting Children's Hospital Colorado on July 20-21! My personal goal is to raise $5,400 for the children and families who rely on Children's Hospital Colorado for care. Thanks to your generosity, we are well over half way to this goal! Please help us crush this goal... today your donation will be matched by another generous donor, doubling your impact on children with cancer and blood disorders!
This year we are riding to honor the memory of Will Maniatis. "Mr. Will" was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in December of 2018, just after his 14th birthday. What followed were multiple rounds of very aggressive chemotherapy, clinical trials, and a bone marrow transplant. Will was a warrior through treatment! He was just as passionate about raising awareness of and funds for research into new treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Will fought valiantly for 14 months. Now it is up to us to continue Will’s fight.
Will and the other children, along with their parents, siblings, and health care providers never give up the fight. It is not an option. As their teammates, we never give up. I am asking you to join us in helping to make a difference for them and the many (too many) other children and families who are still fighting. Donate and learn more about why I ride on my persona page.
This is for Will. And Martha. And Koby. This is for their families. Let them know that we are here. We carry on the fight agains childhood cancer and blood disorders and for CHildren’s Hospital Colorado. Together we will make a difference. Thank you!
With gratitude,
Lori
