I ride to support Children’s Hospital Colorado patients and I have been doing so for nearly 20 years. I am lucky to be able to do so!
When I participated the first couple years I developed a bond with a particular volunteer named Erin who was about 12 and the brightest bit of sunshine there was in Copper Mtn. Despite her devastating medical challenges (which ultimately took her way too early), she was so happy, vibrant, excited to participate and drew any in her vicinity like a magnet. It was so obvious that this event gave her joy, hope, excitement and happiness, so I keep rolling with her spirit in mind!
