Hello and thanks for visiting this site!
I'm excited to once again be able to take my bike over a bunch of beautiful Colorado mountain passes this summer while your sponsorship helps kids fight cancer and blood disorders. On the first day, we'll be riding out of Copper Mountain, up and over Fremont, Tennessee, and Vail passes and back to Copper. Then on day 2, it will be a loop around Dillon Reservoir in the morning chill followed by a a nice up-and-down tour of Loveland Pass, returning up the Ten-Mile canyon to Copper for tour's end.
All of that riding is plenty of time to reflect on the experience of kids and familes who are going through cancer and blood disorders that they never expected to face. Your donation to this ride is instrumental in bringing hope to their journey and maybe even being part of the cure for many of these devastating conditions. So thank you in advance for your financial help in this cause. I especially welcome those of you who have personally been impacted by childhood cancers or blood disorders. You are my true heroes!
This year I will also be thinking a lot about Kamden, my almost 6-yr old friend who was taken by another type of brain cancer less than 2 year ago on the day before he would have turned 6. Kamden and many others are the reason why I ride. With your help, the journey through cancer is made less burdensome and you give hope that the future will be one where these diseases can be finally defeated and with no more young lives ending too soon. In all their years of riding, the Wheels of Justice team has together raised millions of dollars to benefit the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital Colorado.
As for the past three tours, my employer sets up a great opportunity for leveraging your donation. They have an extremely generous policy regarding support of community charitable donations. Due to their generosity, every dollar I personally donate to Children's Hospital will be matched by the company up to a limit of $3000. To take advantage of this leverage, I am committing to match my donors' contributions up to a personal limit of $1500.
The details of my matching plan commitment to you are that every sponsorship of $25 or more, I will personally match at 100%. The funds I donate to the Hospital up to $1500 will then be matched by the company at 100%. The bottom line is that sponsorships of $50 or more will be multiplied by 3! This is a fantastic way for you all to leverage your donation to the maximum advantage! Of course, any amount is greatly and deeply appreciated, but if you hit the $25 level or beyond, your donation will be multiplied according to these terms.
Please consider sponsoring me, and leveraging your donation to the max for the kids at the Hospital and the research that benefits them so amazingly!
If you prefer to donate offline, I can provide you with a form. Just ask!
