Children’s Hospital has changed the trajectory of my daughter’s life . In 2013, Children’s Hospital performed brain surgery on my then 9yr old daughter who months later, had to go back in and do more work after a bout with bacterial meningitis. Then, in 2018, she suffered a massive stroke that was unrelated to the initial brain surgery requiring long-term care and therapies provided by Children’s Hospital. Our family Is so grateful for the expertise, care and general willingness to bring life and joy to our daughter, despite the difficult circumstances. With the many weeks/months we’ve been at the different hospitals , we’ve seen so much of the good that Children’s Hospital brings to the Colorado community.
This is my first time riding in the Courage Classic. It’s a bike ride that spans two days through the mountains of Colorado.
