Why I ride
The Courage Classic is a truly wonderful and equally amazing event for "Kids in Need." Children's Hospital Colorado is one of the very best in our great nation and turns no child and family away for financial reasons. Nearly every day from my office at the University of Colorado School of Medicine I was able to witness another helicopter landing on the heliport of our hospital roof and it reminds me that another child is about to receive life-saving care.
The Courage Classic is the top fundraisier for Children's Hospital and I simply ask you to help with a donation of any size to support treatments and leading research, especially for kids dealing with neurological challenges such as epilepsy, childhood stroke (yes it does happen and is quite common), developmental disorders, cancer and many more.
And as a born-and-raised Chicagoan I urge you to "give early and often" to this great cause. :)
Many thanks.
