Getting ready for my third year riding the Courage Classic with team Wheels of Justice, and I'm pumped to keep supporting Children’s Hospital Colorado in the fight against childhood cancer and blood disorders.
Two years back, when I jumped on board with this amazing crew, I got to meet loads of families who've been through the wringer with their kids. They're real champs, always spreading the word about childhood cancer. But it sucks that we met under such tough circumstances. Every story I heard, every face I saw, hammered home the fact that childhood cancer is still wrecking lives.
Every year, our team takes a moment to remember the kids who fought hard but didn't make it. It's a sobering reminder that we've got a long road ahead in beating this thing.
