On June 13th, my Godmother- April Higgs passed away. She had so much love in her heart and was a huge part of my life. I'll never forget her infectious laugh or the way she seemed to always liven up a room when she entered. She was always there to share a laugh with, give an ear to listen, or a shoulder to cry on. I'm doing this hike in honor and remembrance of her. Rest in Peace Auntie April.
