On Friday, August 4th, I am tackling my first 14er with a group of people committed to making lives better for those who struggle with mental illness. While it will be challenging, it is nothing compared to the daily challenges kids in our state face everyday when struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ocd, and many other mental health hills to climb.

In 2021 the CEO of Children's Hospital declared a state of emergency for mental health in Colorado. Since then CHCO has been working towards solutions and ways to get help to those who need it. Money we raise during this climb will help in those efforts.
