In memory of Daniel Giffin

Daniel Giffin very peacefully passed away on Sunday evening, June 22. He was surrounded by family. Born on June 26, 2007, Daniel was just four days from his 18th birthday. Daniel’s mom, Torie, said “I believe Daniel's was not a life cut short, but a life lived to its fullest and fulfilled. He climbed Pikes Peak on a unicycle at the age of 11 and went on to inspire us all throughout his 6 1/2 year battle with an aggressive brain cancer. Despite the reoccurrence he never asked 'why me' or felt sorry for himself.” Daniel was a proud patient Ambassador for Children’s Hospital Colorado and shared his story to inspire others.

All donations will go toward the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders on the Anschutz Campus and in Colorado Springs.
